Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update. A few minutes ago, the update was released for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Now, the stable update has also been released to the Galaxy S25 FE, starting with South Korea.
Galaxy S25 FE gets stable One UI 8.5 update
The stable One UI 8.5 update, based on Android 16, is now rolling out to the Galaxy S25 FE in South Korea. It comes with firmware version ending BZDP and has a download size of around 367.63MB for devices that were enrolled into the One UI 8.5 Beta Program. For all other devices, the update could weigh more than 4GB in terms of download size.


If you have a Galaxy S25 FE and live in South Korea, you can check for the new update by heading to Settings > Software update and tapping Check for updates. Once the update is downloaded, tap the Install now button to start the installation process. Your phone will restart after a few minutes.
The update brings improved UI design and UX. It also brings new Galaxy AI features, improvements to the design language of stock One UI apps, and an improved version of Bixby with conversation history and Perplexity AI agent integration. Other new features include Bluetooth Auracast audio cast improvements, Storage Share, Quick Share with AirDrop compatibility, and a lot more.
